About the Business
Dave Wood Motorcycles York is a family run business owned by David Wood, selling mopeds, scooters and motorcycles. Dave Wood and Dave Kenyon (Senior Technician) have been riding bikes since the young age of 16. The Daves have known each other for over 30 years and have almost reached their 20th year in the business together. Combined, they have over 60 years experience in the motorbike field with a passion for biking in their lives outside work. Dave comes from a family of keen bikers and regularly meets for a bike expedition with his brothers, his son Phil and his nephews.
He attends the Manx GP annually with his family and considers the Isle of Man a Mecca of Motorcycling and Steam Railways! Dave competes in classic motorcycle racing events across Europe. His most recent events have included Spa Francorchamps, Bikers Classic Event for the last 4 years and the Barry Sheene Meeting at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough. Dave's family frequently contribute to the running of the business.
