About the Business
Mo-Tech is one of the longest established Motorcycle and Scooter specialists in the North. The shop dates back to the early sixties when it was known as Angelo's Scooter Station, specialising in the restoration and tuning of Piaggio and Vespa scooters.
The shop was acquired in 1984 by its present owner Paul Hamilton, and is still to this day exclusively Piaggio. Paul has maintained and enhanced the company's excellent reputation in restoring classic Vespa's, and has coupled this with his own experience in the Motorcycle trade, which now spans over four decades.
Mo-Tech have recently expanded and developed a brand new showroom and workshop stocked with the latest tooling and diagnostic equipment adjacent to their previous showrooms. We now offer facilities to rival any in the North, stocking the full range of Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia, Gilera and Derbi scooters and motorcycles. Our new clothing area stocks a large range of clothing and accessories to suit any rider.
